Welcome

We are so glad that you chose to “drop by” and pay us a call.

Words that Work does exactly what the term suggests in that we provide targeted copy for Website Publishers. We all know the value of good well written and highly keyword targeted copy. The jury has returned on that one and the verdict is beyond doubt. It works.

Left AlignFar from labouring on about our skill sets, the last thing you want to “plough through” is endless sales copy about how good we think we are. Instead why don’t you check out some of the articles below, see how they work for the sites they were provided for and then see if we can do the same for you?

How much does it cost? How long is a piece of string? If you like what you see then please don’t hesitate to contact us at the email address provided above and I guarantee you will not be disappointed with the results.

In the meantime, once again thank you for taking the time and trouble to spend some time on our site.

Kindest regards

Patrick Phillips

International Adoption - Is it possible to Triumph from Tragedy

Right Align

In the early hours of Dec 26th 2004 the Western world awoke to the unfolding horror that we came to know as the Asian Tsunami. Those of us still recovering from obscenely large amounts of food and drink from the previous day sat transfixed as we watched a horror story of biblical proportions unfold before our very eyes.

The United Nations estimated that the Asian Tsunami left more than five million people homeless, including about 1.5 million children most of whom became orphaned. The outpouring of emotion from around the world was of mixed benefit as far as the region was concerned in that yes we all dug deep into our pockets and yes we all lobbied our Politicians to something about it and yes bizarrely this tragedy may have had some knock on effect in the movement to alleviate Third World debt and poverty but the blessings were mixed as far as the people on the ground were concerned...read more

The above article was requested in early 2006 and is one of my favourites (apart from being directly responsible for the copy) because it helped make a difference. The emails we (and the website publishers themselves) received from far and wide were quite touching and helped remind us that sometimes life is about more than just "how much ad revenue can we generate this month."

Alcohol and High Blood Pressure - Fact or Fiction?

Right Align

Alcohol and High Blood Pressure - wow, this is a good one (he says putting down his pint – only joking). Consuming Alcohol and High Blood Pressure as an issue is a real conundrum.

On the one hand, the odd wee drink now and then (he says picking his pint glass up again) is actually quite beneficial and can act as an aid and part treatment for cardiovascular purposes but it is like everything, taken to excess, therein lies the downfall.

The relationship between Alcohol and High Blood Pressure (Hypertension) has been recognised for nearly a century and especially the link between Hypertension and the excessive consumption of alcohol i.e. more than just the correct recommended intake of a few units (14 for women and 21 for men) a week....read more

I liked this project and article. We were given a fair amount of "free reign" on this one and could develop it into a small "thought piece."

Credit Debt Consolidation – Are We all Sitting on a Time Bomb Waiting to Explode?

Right Align

OK listen up folks, do you have a mountain of debt on your credit cards that would probably put a third world developing nation to shame?

Suddenly does it seem to you and you alone that there is nothing in the classifieds but advertisements from Companies all promising competitive rates on Credit Debt Consolidation?

Are becoming obsessed with hiding the credit card statements before your wife gets to the post in the morning?

You do?

Well don’t be too despondent because it would appear that you are not alone in all of this. Doesn’t this make you feel better? You feel like going out and treating yourself to something new right away!

See, that’s the problem. It appears that the average person in the US is about $8,000 to $10,000 in unsecured debt at any one time. Now for a certain part of the population that may or may not be a problem but for the average household it is and the knock on effects of this could be devastating on the economy. ....read more

This one was fun. It is not often that a Publisher comes up to you and says "Go on give it your best shot, have a go and see if you can make a dry subject readable". Well hopefully we did and it is....
